ABOUT ME

Camille is a photographer and storyteller. Born in France, she moved to Montreal after high school to study World Cinemas, Psychology and Economics at McGill University. During her undergraduate degree, she spent her time writing and learning photography. Her photography has been recognized and featured in the Mise-en-Abyme exhibition in Montreal. She graduated on the Dean’s Honor List with a degree in Arts and Science.

She then attended Emerson College as a graduate student in the MFA in Media Art and Film Program with an emphasis on film production and directing. In her time at Emerson, she wrote, directed and produced multiple fiction and experimental short films. She also helped her colleagues with their films in the camera and the lighting department as well as the producing department: she most notably produced a short film called iDeal Wife, which travelled to film festivals all around the world and won several prizes. She graduated with her own MFA thesis, Lost Roads, which she wrote, directed, shot and produced and went on to get a nomination for “best director” at the NYC2Paris International Film Festival for her work. She is currently shooting and directing a feature-length documentary called Bac 9, which follows the journey of two female boxers.
